Most RV's are made for pavement. This one? It needed to go further. Our client rolled in with a 30-foot Thor Geneva Class C RV on a Ford E-Series chassis—big family, big adventures, and one very specific challenge: he’s a hunter. Not a “pull into a KOA” kind of hunter, but the “drive until the road gets rough, then keep going” kind. The problem? Factory ride height was holding them back. On more than one trip, they had to turn around when the trail got sketchy—and when you’re hauling the whole family, reversing out of the backcountry isn’t fun.
The mission: give this Geneva the ground clearance, stability, and confidence to go wherever the adventure calls.
Off-Road Upgrades & Suspension for Thor Geneva Class C Lift Kit
We equipped the Thor Geneva Class C with WeldTec’s full 6" OFF GRID lift kit, designed specifically for the E-Series platform. The kit included:
Custom extended radius arms & weld-on radius arm brackets
Moog radius arm pivot bushings
Heavy-duty lift coils
Sway bar drop-down brackets with hardware
Modified I-beams with Moog pivot bushings
Four Fox Performance Series 2.0 Smooth Body IFP shocks
Progressive rear leaf springs
