Ceramic Coating for Campervans & RV's
You put your van or RV through real conditions—sun, salt, sap, bugs, and miles of grit. Wax can’t keep up. Ceramic coating can.
At Savage Campervan & RV, we take protection further by pairing professional-grade ceramic coatings with precision paint correction. The correction restores clarity and depth. The ceramic locks it in. Together, they create a finish that looks incredible and lasts for years.
This isn’t a dealership upsell or a quick spray-and-wipe. It’s a true multi-stage process built for vehicles that live outdoors and move through everything. When you’re ready to protect what you built, this is where it starts.

We’re detailers who live van life ourselves. We know what these vehicles go through—and we know how to make them last.
Every job begins with a full surface assessment—paint type, oxidation level, and existing coatings—so we know exactly what we are working with. Then the real work begins.
1. DECON WASH - Paint safe chemicals and scrubbing mitts strip dirt, fallout, wax and grime. It's all gotta go, ceramic compounds won't bond to paint unless its clean first.
2. PAINT CORRECTION - Machines and compounds remove swirling, scratches and other imperfections. This is the longest, most labor intensive part. Machines run for hours, panel by panel to create the perfect surface for the ceramic to bond to and protect. You choose single stage or 2 stage correction based on surface condition.
3. SURFACE PREP - Paint safe solvents are used to prepare the surface and rid it of any residual compounds, fingerprints etc. This creates the perfect bonding situation for the ceramic compound.
4. CERAMIC APPLICATION - Ceramic coating is applied precisely by hand section by section. Leveled and wiped smooth for a flawless finish.
5. CURE & INSPECT - Inspected for streaking or missed areas and then left to cure indoors in a temperature controlled environment for a minimum of 12 hours. This gives the coating time to harden and be the savage protection we're promising.
6. FINAL DETAILS - Tires dressed, trim restored, glass cleaned and all other details addressed for a truly Savage kind of clean.

PAINT & GELCOAT
Deepens gloss, locks in rich color, and builds a long-lasting shield against UV, oxidation, and harsh road grime.

GLASS
Hydrophobic clarity that sheds rain, bug guts, and road film, keeping visibility sharp and wipers gliding smooth.

UPHOLSTERY
Adds an invisible barrier against spills and stains on seats, dinettes, and mattresses — perfect for full-timers, families, and anyone who snacks on the road.

TRIM & PLASTICS
Restores that factory-black look, blocks UV fade, and keeps plastics from chalking or drying out without the greasy shine.

WHEELS
Repels brake dust, mud, and road salt so your wheels stay clean longer and wash downs are quick and painless.

SOLAR PANELS
Coating reduces buildup and grime so panels stay cleaner, grab more light, and keep your battery system charging at full power.

Ceramic coating your van or RV is essential because it forms a durable, protective barrier that guards against UV rays, road grime, salt, and other harsh elements, making your ride easier to clean, preserving its glossy finish, and keeping it looking sharp no matter how rugged the journey gets.
UV light doesn’t care how much your van cost. Without protection, it oxidizes paint, fades graphics, and cooks clear coat. Ceramic coatings form a UV-resistant layer that blocks those rays and keeps colors deep and rich.
A quality ceramic isn’t a “shine spray”—it’s a hardened shell measured in microns. Once cured, it resists bug acids, sap, and chemical etching that destroy wax in days. You can wash less, travel more, and your exterior still looks freshly detailed.
•TIME SAVINGS
Ceramic makes cleaning effortless. Dirt and water slide off. You’ll use less soap, less time, and no elbow grease. What used to be a weekend chore becomes a quick rinse.
Paint correction brings back clarity; ceramic keeps it there. Together they preserve resale value and prevent expensive repainting. Most of our coatings last three to five years—with proper care, even longer.

Watch this yellow van shed water and flush off dust like nothing, the ceramic doing its job nonstop while the rain just slides right off.
A ceramic-treated windshield fights back in a downpour, shedding water fast and staying clear while the storm does everything it can to blind your view.
Mike puts our ceramic treatment to the test on a solar panel, and the water doesn’t stand a chance—beading, sliding, and clearing off clean so your power stays strong.
WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?

Mike dives into polishing this red van, cutting through swirls and haze to bring the paint back to life before the ceramic ever touches the surface.
Paint correction is the process of cutting and polishing your paint to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation, bringing back depth and clarity. It isn’t a quick buff — it’s a methodical, panel-by-panel approach that levels imperfections and revives tired paint.
A single-stage correction is a one-pass polish that enhances gloss and cleans up light swirls, leaving the surface brighter and smoother. It’s best for rigs that already look good but need that extra pop before protection.
A two-stage correction goes further. First we cut with a more aggressive pad and compound to remove heavier swirls and deeper scratches, then we refine with a polish to restore clarity. The result is up to 85–90% defect removal and a finish that looks nearly new.
Whether single-stage or two-stage, proper paint correction sets the foundation for long-term protection like ceramic coating — because whatever we leave behind will be locked under that coating
